I created this painting as a tribute to my Mom, a woman who shaped me in countless ways. In it, you’ll see two trees: one larger, standing strong, and one smaller, growing under its guidance and protection. These trees represent us—my Mom and me. She was my example, my protector, and my inspiration, always showing me how to reach for my dreams while staying deeply rooted in what truly matters.
The layers in this painting reflect the journey of growth—the experiences that shape us, the challenges we overcome, and the unique beauty that makes each of us who we are. The predominant color in the trees is pink, symbolizing the battle we both fought and won against cancer. It’s a reminder of resilience, love, and the unbreakable bond between a mother and child.
