Sharing positivity through my art. Cheerful in color; peaceful in subject matter.

Hi, I'm Tanja. I create art to brighten your spaces and your spirit.

When did I know I was an artist?

My journey with art began when I was six, rushing home from summer school to show my family a collage I had made. It was a simple robin, but to me, it was magic. From that moment on, art became my thing. While friends would play with their Barbies, I would sit with them and happily draw. We were together, chatting, laughing, and doing our own thing—simpler days!

How did I develop my style?

I’m a self-taught artist with an insatiable curiosity about different art forms. I’ve always loved exploring other mediums and taking classes from fellow artists. Their perspectives inspire me to think differently and try new things in my own work.

Why do I create?

Art is how I express what I see and feel. The images in my head and the emotions in my heart find their way into my work. And the best part? Once the piece is complete, it becomes something entirely new in someone else’s eyes. That’s the magic of art: it leaves space for personal interpretation. It can move us, teach us, and even connect us.

In a world that often emphasizes our differences, art reminds us of what we share. I believe it builds bridges and sparks conversations. That’s something I truly love.

I’m also involved in my local art guild - a wonderful mix of artists and art-lovers. We host community events, raise scholarship funds for local art students, and hold an annual art fair that’s truly one-of-a-kind. The connections I make through the guild continue to enrich my own creative practice.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope my work brings a little light into your life - just as making it brings light into mine.
